The problem about printing a photo on two pages is that the people standing in the middle may get cut off into the page. This is exactly the case in this picture, where the girl got her face cut off by the book.
Things like this just happen sometimes due to bad positioning and designing of these kinds of things. We genuinely feel bad for this girl who probably took a while to find herself in the picture. Gone, but not forgotten.
