When you ask what people think about the living conditions of Alaska residents, a good number of the responses you’ll get will be something like, “it’s a freezing place inhabited by penguins and polar bears, it’s without a doubt that the people who live there take shelter in igloos.”
We cannot dispute that snow and ice are one of Alaska’s common features, but its residents don’t live in igloos. They are civilized people who live in normal houses with electricity and other features such as air conditioners. Alaskans are modern Americans, not ancient cavemen.
