[post_page_title]The mosquitoes are a menace[/post_page_title]
Someone who has just toured Alaska in the summer might compare its mosquitoes to giant mutant insects from a fantasy movie scene. Scientists have so far identified over 30 mosquito species in Alaska.

The larger ones are a nuisance, for they are hard to control during warmer seasons. Records have consistently shown that their population shoots from June to August when it gets warmer. The constant rising temperatures in the Arctic have made Alaska a breeding haven for mosquitoes. The situation could be a potential threat to Alaskans if immediate action isn’t taken.
