[post_page_title]October nights’ lights[/post_page_title]
Alaska is a unique state. If you take a closer look at their culture and their way of life, you’ll notice that they do everything the rest of the world does differently. A perfect example is how they celebrate Christmas. To Alaskans, Christmas always comes early.

Considering that they experience a lot of darkness in fall, they have a culture of putting up Christmas lights in early October. Doing so at that time helps, because Christmas lights would be covered up by the heavy snow they experience in later months (especially during Christmas Eve).
