Not many people in America are aware that the snowiest place in the region is Alaska. The area has huge amounts of snow, and the Alaskans take pride in their situation.
The snow that falls in Alaska cannot be compared to the snow that falls in different regions of the U.S, even during their coldest winter spells. The only states that have recorded more snow than Alaska are Washington and California. As is evident from the picture below, the snowiest place in Alaska is Valdez.
