Alaskans will tell you that patience is an absolute virtue when waiting for UPS deliveries. Anything that arrives from the mainland USA takes longer to reach its destination. Other than distance being an obstacle for effective deliveries, UPS drivers frequently encounter hostile animals that get in the way of their jobs.
They often run into polar bears, moose, and wolves while delivering mails and parcels. It’s common for them to leave parcels a few yards to your house when they encounter such animals. We hope the recipient of the note below got his package.
