[post_page_title]What’s the fuss about 4th of July?[/post_page_title]
A common scenario on the 4th of July in Alaska is the frequent tune of the Star-Spangled Banner. Otherwise, all the excitement that comes with America’s Independence Day is not common there. There are no fireworks in front yards of houses.

Alaskans don’t celebrate Independence Day as wildly as their fellow Americans, because the famous day comes when it’s brightest in Alaska. This doesn’t mean that Alaskans don’t know how to celebrate eventful days. They are known to set off fireworks during New Year’s Eve, because it’s usually darker than the 4th of July.
