This wife presumably wanted to get a nice gift for a friend who had just had a baby, and then wrap it in a charming bag. When she asked her husband to help her out by going to the store to pick out a suitable bag to put the gift in, he came back home with this!
Obviously, this bag was intended for a birthday present, rather than a “birth” present. You have to give this husband some credit though – it is quite ingenious what he did with the tape.
