If preachy Aaron Sorkin dramas have taught us anything, journalism is, like, really hard, you guys. In reality, though, it seems to be much harder than anyone thought, as these newspaper headlines – whether stating the blindingly obvious or just plain silly – show.

This seems to be the headline of some kind of questions-and-answers column, by a guy called Wayne Hansen whose title is “Redwood Co. Extension Educator.” While we haven’t even got the faintest idea what that means, we do know that they probably could’ve come up with something a little more… educational?
For cutting insight like “bugs flying around with wings are flying bugs” we could have gone to our seven-year-old nephew. And he would have even added another lesson – bugs crawling around on the ground are crawling bugs.
