Have you ever been caught wearing red in Target? If not, let us give you a piece of advice: don’t wear red in Target. If you have accidentally done this in the past, you know just how annoying it is to fight off a barrage of customers who just assume you’re an employee because of the color of your shirt.
It’s hard to know what to say, but we think that this overheard conversation shows off a perfect response. Say that you’re just a person. Either the customer will understand or they will get confused and leave. Win-win.
