People thanking veterans for their service is always a welcome thing. It’s a great way to show your appreciation to some of the most underappreciated people around. But be mindful when going around and thanking people. Some veterans just want to be left alone. And some veterans really aren’t veterans at all.
In this case, this girl got thanked for her service only because she was wearing a camouflage jacket. That was probably pretty awkward, but at least it wasn’t another joke about how her torso was invisible. Those get old pretty fast when you’re wearing camo.
