The dating scene has changed drastically in the last few years. Gone are spontaneous moments of true connection while walking on the street or eating at a restaurant. They have since been replaced by computer algorithms that select the perfect match for us. Kinda weird and dystopian, but it’s also convenient. Modern romance with a partner is different now too. Rather than sending them nice messages or calling them, we just tag them in memes. Some of the spark has been lost, but hey, what’s better than sharing a hilarious meme with someone you love? Nothing, we say.
For us, though, it’s a lot less fun to figure out. No yachts and expensive cars to add up. We have our measly accounts plus some kitchen appliances, basically.
