If you’ve never lived in New York, it’s really kinda hard to describe what the lifestyle there is like. But this overheard conversation goes a long way towards explaining it. You make friends with random people, you stay up late, you attend horrible events in Brooklyn because you promised someone you would go, and you miss out on a lot of other opportunities.
Yep, that’s life in New York, alright. It was nice of this person to support their produce vendor, but man, that really sounds like quite the night. We would have had to have passed.
