Students who choose to get a PhD are pretty impressive to say the least with the average PhD student taking 8.2 years to finish doctorate programs. So what exactly do they do? They spend years training, researching, and picking up additional skills and experiences along the way.
They also, of course, read lots and lots of books. Not just any books, some pretty heavy and thick text books. So when this guy’s date told him PhD students ‘do books,’ she wasn’t exactly wrong.
