Having lived a rather short life, Jimi Hendrix has made a big impact on the rock music industry, where his legacy continues to live on. However, prior to making it big with his electric guitar, the late Hendrix enlisted in the army in 1961, after being caught riding in cars that were stolen.
For this misbehavior, he was given a choice to either serve the army or go to jail. We think that his decision was obvious. However, he was discharged after a year, and never showed content with his time in the army.
