Perhaps one of the greatest American actors of all time, James Earl Jones received a multitude of awards throughout his entire career.
Before making it big in the film industry, Jones participated in the Reserve Officer Training Corps and officially joined the infantry, after the end of the Korean war. In his time there, he was First Lieutenant before he was discharged. Jones was most famous for his voice and narration works as he began his career after leaving the army.
