In one episode, Elizabeth speaks to her youngest child Prince Edward, who makes a startling admission. Their conversation moves to the topic of Edward’s time at boarding school. He lets slip that he’d been bullied, and when the Queen presses him he goes into more detail, saying he had saliva flicked at his head and superglue placed on his chair.
Despite the gory details, there’s no indication Edward was ever bullied at school, though some have suggested Prince Andrew bullied him. What’s more, according to one royal expert, it was actually Charles who was “mercilessly bullied” at school because of his sensitivity.
