[post_page_title]Fact check: The Royal Family playing Ibble Dibble[/post_page_title]
There was a lot to unpack in The Crown’s Balmoral episode, not least of which was the Royal Family’s love of a bizarre drinking game called “Ibble Dibble.” As part of the game, anyone who slips up while rapid-fire reciting the eponymous tongue-twister has to have a blackened cork pressed against their face.

Naturally, The Crown’s version of Prime Minister Thatcher fails miserably, completely killing the vibe. Sadly, there’s no evidence the Family’s ever played Ibble Dibble, but Prince Andrew did admit the Queen banned Monopoly at get-togethers because the games got “too vicious.”
