[post_page_title]A sinking submarine[/post_page_title]
Submarines are supposed to sink, but they also need to float back up. In 2013, Spain built a hi-tech submarine that cost a whopping $2.3 billion.

However, they soon found out that it wasn’t functional – a decimal error caused the submarine to weigh 77 tons. It was unusable, sinking uncontrollably to the bottom of the sea. The Spanish government had to spend more time and $11.9 million to fix the problem. Now, after the fixes, the unfortunate submarine is too long to fit in the dock.
