Way back in 2010, when Corden was hosting the Glamour Woman of the Year Awards, Sir Patrick Stewart came up to the podium to give Corden his perspective on the talk show host’s stage presence.
He said that Corden should not be standing back, hands in his pockets and looking around absentmindedly, giving off the impression that he would rather be “anywhere but here.” Corden got extremely defensive, and said that it was not true and he was happy to be there.
