The producer known for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Jack Allison, confirmed what others had written about James advocating for lower pay for his writers. Allison Tweeted that he had also attended the same meeting as Corden with the WGA, and was disturbed by Corden’s wish to lower wages.
Corden responded to the Tweet, saying that everything Allison had written was not true and all he had done was merely asked if a new writers program could be introduced for ex-interns who wished to become writers.
