As recounted by a former producer for Ellen’s show, apparently the host was not impressed by the font size on the iPhone. One time, she had lost her glasses and was unable to read a text message she had received. So, Ellen called up Steve Jobs and complained to him directly that the iPhone should have a bigger font. This former producer elaborated, saying that Ellen’s reality is just “an incredibly privileged bubble,” and that the host is “out of touch.”
