Thousands of Twitter users reacted to the viral post, with many of them calling the letter ‘touching’ and ‘beautiful.’ It also inspired a lot of people to share their own stories of times when selling a used or old item on eBay brought great joy to a shopper’s life.
One commenter wrote about a time he sold action figures on eBay, and how a mother who bought two for her autistic son said she wished she could have bought them all – so the seller sent 28 more her way and later received a heartfelt call from the grateful mom.
