Electronic accessories are pretty pricey nowadays. People are always trying to find cheaper alternatives to the upmarket add-ons they want to purchase. This person clearly didn’t want to fork out an extortionate amount on a holder for their tablet, so took the matter into their own hands.
By the looks of it, they have taken out the back of a photo frame, and just taped it onto the back of their device. Although this is pretty ingenious, it isn’t the most practical design, to say the least.
