There is a rule when doing home DIY, and that is ‘If it doesn’t fit, make it.’ This person was meant to install a new sink, and it appears as though it was supposed to fit nicely into the surface in the bathroom.
It seems as though this was not the case, and it wasn’t a snug fit, so this DIY-er decided to get rid of the countertop altogether. They have managed to install the sink but at the cost of the bathroom aesthetics and functionality.
