However, using more than the recommended amount of fabric softener can have quite the opposite effect, and make the fabrics feel greasy and stiff, as well as reduces how absorbent our towels are. Instead, it is better to stick what the manufacturer recommends as being the correct amount, and your sheets will be left feeling lush and soft.
