We have all been there, when we have that extra dirty load of laundry and we pour in just a wee but more detergent than usual to tackle the stains, in the hopes that our washing will come out extra clean.
Well, this is actually not the greatest idea. In fact, using too much detergent may result in both the stains and the detergent not rinsing out, which just means that more laundry will need to be done.
