Using an abrasive pad on windows is not the greatest idea, despite messes on windows being one of those more difficult things to deal with. A cleaning expert at Fantastic Cleaners, Mihaela Davidova, says that using these abrasive pads “usually ends in a scratched glass that even glass polishing products cannot repair.”
Instead, Davidova recommends using a cleaning solution that is made for glass and then removing it with a squeegee, which will not cause your windows any harm.
