One of those old tricks that every Grandma seems to have up their sleeves it to use hairspray to remove ink stains.

However, these days, this does not work as effectively as it has in the past, as hairspray nowadays is not made with alcohol in them, which is the key ingredient necessary to remove all that ink. In fact, using hairspray may make the stain even harder to get rid of. Instead, soak the stain in rubbing alcohol for around 15 minutes.
