When we think of what in our kitchens we would label as being the most sturdy, the stovetop is just one of those things that come to mind. It feels like anything that could handle such a high heat surely could handle anything.
However, these stovetops can not handle one thing, and that is a steel wool scrub down. Using a scouring pad or steel wood on a stovetop could really easily cause scratches or damage them.
