You may automatically think of the snarky put downs of untalented American Idol contestants, a bittersweet personality, and an iconic TV personality when you think of Simon Cowell. The media mogul who is worth an estimated $570 million is also surprisingly charitable in his personal life, and is involved in many noble causes.
Cowell has even named some of his favorite charities, focused on dogs and underprivileged children, as the primary recipients of his will. Cowell explains that he feels no need to “spoil” his son Eric Cowell with unearned wealth.
