Patricia O’Neil may not be a name that rings any bells, but she is the Countess of Kenmore’s daughter and wife of retired Australian Olympic swimmer Frank O’Neil. Most significantly, she is the owner of Kalu the chimpanzee, who is set to be the world’s richest animal upon her passing.
The Chimpanzee was rescued by Patricia years ago from Congo, and she quickly developed a bond with Kalu. Patricia then ensured that upon her and her husband’s passing, Kalu would inherit over $60 million dollars to ensure that he is well taken care of.
