Karl Lagerfield is a name that may not be instantly recognizable to people who aren’t in the know on the fashion industry, but you’ll certainly recognize the brands he’s worked with. Lagerfield is best known for his revival of Chanel and the modern style of the company.
Lagerfield unfortunately passed away in 2019, and strangely enough, the entirety of his $200 million fortune was set to be bestowed upon his cat. Choupette, Lagerfeld’s beloved cat, was said to be loved to the point where Lagerfield said he’d marry Choupette if he legally could.
