Sara Blakely is best known for being the founder and CEO of Spanx, and she is also one of the world’s most prominent women and entrepreneurs. She has a devoted philanthropic heart and has Sir Richard Branson, a massive philanthropist himself, as her mentor.
Her foundation focuses on getting young girls and women out of poverty. She has contributed over $5 million to female-run small companies impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 alone and supported the Donation Pledge, through which she will donate much of her fortune to numerous foundations and philanthropic causes.
