David Gest is probably best known for his brief marriage to Liza Minelli. However, there’s far more to him. Gest is a music producer, TV host, and comedian. Gest’s affinity for the small screen was demonstrated throughout his career.
Tragically, Gest passed away with no children in 2016, leading to his lawyer, Edward Bearmann, taking the opportunity to seize Gest’s $10 million fortune. Gest’s family took Bearmann to court over this, but unfortunately lost by playing a lawyer at his own game.
