The face of the civil rights movement, and a staple of modern American history, Martin Luther King Jr. is an unrivaled cultural legend. He led a very risky life for the sake of harmony, facing arrests, verbal abuse and assault regularly.

Yet, the nation stood in shock and dismay as his life was tragically taken at the age of 39. Sadly, he did not leave behind a will, which led to his estate being taken care of by a private organization for years, while his family disputed the inheritance.
