American politician and author Sarah Palin is a name that needs no further introduction, as her prolific work history precedes her. The former governor of Alaska was married until 2020 to her high school sweetheart, Todd Palin. Palin attended Wasilla High School and the couple eloped in August 1988 while she was working as a sports newscaster and reporter.
They had their first child in 1989 and would go on to have four more children. During the early stages of her career, she also helped her husband with his commercial fishing business.
