At the heart of some of the most iconic Christmas movies is Macaulay Culkin. The movie franchise ‘Home Alone’ is basically all about bad parenting – what kind of a parent leaves their kid in an attic? However, it was sad for us to find out that Culkin actually did have a rough childhood.
His father exploited his acting skills as soon as he was aware of his talent. He would sign him up to movie deal after movie deal, and the young Culkin didn’t cope well at all. What makes matters worse, was his dad also drank very regularly, which meant he needed more money to feel his drinking habit.
