Being a hairdresser can also mean being your own boss if you want it too. However, you don’t need a degree to be an absolute pro in this field, you just need passion, willingness to learn, and some serious skills. Skill comes with time, no one rocks up to a hair salon with an innate ability to foil highlights. However, having an obsession with hair and a flair of creativity will take you far in this career.

It starts off as a hobby for most photographers, so you’ll know if it’s something you want to do.
