The fact that Prince Charles was seeing Camilla Parker-Bowles while he was married to Princess Di was almost as well-known at the time as it is now. Less well-known is the fact that Diana confronted Camilla about it in person, saying, “I’d just like you to know that I know exactly what’s going on.”
Camilla reportedly reminded Diana that she had ‘everything’, and wondered what more she could possibly want – to which the Princess of Wales responded “I want my husband.” Doesn’t it just break your heart?
