Catherine Oxenberg, who is best known for playing Amanda on Dynasty, is the daughter of Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia. That makes her a first cousin once removed of Princes Edward and Michael, who are the Queen’s cousins.
None of which is as interesting as the story that came out in 2018 about how she accidentally introduced her daughter India to NXIVM, which she thought was a self-help organisation – but turned out to be a cult. Oxenberg’s work collecting testimonies from cult experts and former NXIVM members helped the FBI bring the organisation down.
