Ridley Scott directs this historical drama-thriller based on a book of the same name concerning the last officially recognized judicial duel fought in France, in 1386.
In the movie, Matt Damon and Adam Driver play two friends ordered to fight a duel to the death to settle an accusation against Driver’s character. The screenplay is co-written by Nicole Holofcener and Good Will Hunting Oscar winners Matt Damon and Ben Affleck – the latter also plays a supporting role. Release date: October 15, 2021.
