A live-action Cruella de Vil film was announced back in 2011, but it’s only now, 10 years later, that we’ll finally learn the origin story of Disney’s most infamous villain. Glenn Close, who played the titular character in the 1996 live-action adaptation and its sequel, is one of the executive producers.
Emma Stone is the young fashion designer Estella de Vil, who becomes obsessed with dogs’ skins, especially Dalmatians, eventually becoming the terrifying Cruella. Also in the movie are actors like Emma Thomson and Dev Patel. Release date: May 28, 2021.
