Director Lee Isaac Chung’s Minari got a lot of buzz in international festivals in 2020, and now audiences finally get to watch what the Los Angeles Times described as “the movie we need right now.”
The film, which chronicles the life of a Korean-American family that moves from the big city to a farm in search of the American Dream, is a semi-autobiographical take on Chung’s own upbringing – he grew up in Arkansas. The Walking Dead’s Steven Yeun leads the cast. Release date: February 12, 2021.
