When we first looked at this creature, we were positively baffled. Flummoxed, even! What could it possibly be? And then it hit us. Oh, yes, the American opossum. A scraggly creature at the best of times, very much unlike its adorable cousin, the Australian possum.
Never seen an Australian possum, by the way? Now is definitely the time to look them up! But back to this poor fellow here. He’s got a typical American opossum face, but without his hair, he looks more like a large rodent than anything else.
