It seems that there isn’t just one hairless chimp out there in the world! This is a photo of yet another chimp that suffers from alopecia. Because monkeys are so similar to us, it’s not uncommon for them to get the exact same diseases as us. (That’s one of the reasons that monkeys are used as test subjects in labs.) If humans can have severe hair loss and alopecia, you can guarantee that monkeys can too.
This chimp doesn’t look too shocking without hair, but it definitely highlights its muscular build. Even if it’s a bit chubby.
