We’ve already covered the fact that hedgehogs can be hairless, but here’s another one that shows off what these creatures look like when they’re missing their trademark spikes. Hedgehogs will roll into balls like these in order to protect themselves, but that technique is a whole lot less effective when you are just soft and fleshy on the outside rather than prickly and painful.

You can see that he still has some hairs on his face, but that doesn’t amount to much for this little guy. Regardless, he’s still a cutie.
