Due to their sacred status, cows are not bred for consumption. Beef won’t be found on the menus of Indian restaurants and similar institutions.
The horns of the cow represent the gods, the four legs are symbolic of the four Vedas, and its udder stands for the four objectives of life – wealth, desire, righteousness, and salvation. Instead, you will get to enjoy them roaming free and living their best life. How ironic is the photo below? Cows walking outside of McDonald’s strutting their stuff.
