[post_page_title]Unique bridge systems[/post_page_title]
If you can picture yourself in a dense forest where a network of tree roots forms the bridges, then India is the place to be. Your forest dreams can become a reality. The State of Meghalaya has bridges that are made from the root systems of trees.

The purpose of this is that it protects the bridges from rot, caused by dampness in the air – common sufferance found in traditional bridges. It is a time-consuming process, but one that was developed for sustainability purposes in the long run.
