With this statement, we are not really referring to a means of transport that is both legal and road safety compliant. Instead, we refer to an object, however curious, that can carry its occupants around to where they need to be and back.
As shown in the photograph below, this set of wheels would be illegal to drive on the open road in a country like the United States. But for the people of India, the law is not as strict, and when it comes to building their own jalopy, their creativity can take flight.
